Making this quick

I will tell you what.  I have not always been seen as shy.  In fact I would say that I have in most cases, not been stereotyped as shy.  One of my new coworkers has called me shy and quiet twice.  I understand where she is coming from because I hold my tongue around them a lot.  I have different opinions/advice than the others and understand that opposites aren't always welcome.  Now I do jut in every once and awhile, but not frequently.  I think I've been newly labeled as "shy" is in the fact that I'm not trying to step on toes.  It has always been in my personality to try and please others.  This means I will try and learn the area and my place before I jump in to make it my own especially in an employment situation.

So I guess that's all I have say in regards to having the co-workers think I'm shy, well except...

I would like to interject that labels like shy suck.

It feels really strange for me, partially because I'm not use to it... manly because I know I'm not who they think I am.  The problem, I don't want to change the way I interact.  One because when I've already been typecast it the ask what's wrong if you act differently.  Two, I don't really necessarily fit in and don't want to make others uncomfortable.  Just in general.  Anyway, I think that shy isn't a very nice term to have to hear and it gets frustrating and confusing to digest.

I don't think is an entry attempting to preach to others, I think this is to get the yuck out of my system.

Facts for Reflection.

I am not shy.  I am sociable and enjoyable.

I am in a situation that is new/different/difficult to adjust to...

This is life right now, but will not always be life.

Let the World Know, I am NOT engaged.

This is a picture from Photo Booth... apparently Photo Booth
takes it as a mirror image, so what would be my right hand,
appears as though it is my left.

Carmen graciously reversed the image after many a speculation...

There that's better. :)
